Right for the Future Task Force proposed to guide long-term facilities planning

The Right for the Future Task Force is responsible for identifying the community’s vision, values, and priorities for what teaching, learning, and school facilities should look like in the future. To do this, the Task Force will collect and synthesize feedback from community surveys, focus groups, the review of available data, and other stakeholder engagement activities.

The Task Force is not responsible for developing the district’s long-term facilities plan. Instead, the District Working Group will use the vision, values, and priorities established by the Task Force to develop recommendations regarding school facilities, investments, and potential consolidation efforts. Ultimately, the decisions on the future of the district’s school buildings and facilities will be made by the elected school board of directors.
